Mc-Fee Agency Ltd is the data controller for the personal information we use to operate our business, except where a service provider acts independently as explained below.

You can contact us about privacy or your personal information:

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.

  • Order details, payment confirmations, purchases, returns, refunds and delivery information.

  • Customer account details and preferences, where you create an account.

  • Messages and other information you provide when requesting assistance.

  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, cookie identifiers and interactions with our website.

  • Your privacy choices and any communication preferences you provide.

Payments are processed through our checkout payment providers. They process the payment details needed to complete your transaction. Please do not send full card details to us by email or chat.

We receive information directly from you, automatically through our website and its integrations, and from providers involved in processing payments, fulfilling orders and supporting our services.

How we use information and our lawful bases

We use personal information for the following purposes:

Orders and customer accounts: To process payments, fulfil and deliver purchases, manage accounts, handle returns and provide order-related support. We rely on performance of our contract with you, or steps you request before entering into a contract.

Customer enquiries: To answer questions and resolve issues. Depending on the enquiry, we rely on our contract with you or our legitimate interest in providing effective customer service.

Business records and legal obligations: To maintain accounting and tax records, meet legal requirements and respond to valid requests from authorities. We rely on our legal obligations.

Security and disputes: To protect our website, prevent misuse, investigate suspected fraud and establish or defend legal claims. We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting our business and customers, and legal obligations where applicable.

Service improvement and reviews: To understand customer experiences and improve our products and service. We rely on our legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Where activities involve optional cookies or similar tracking, we obtain consent where required.

Analytics, personalisation and advertising: To understand website usage, measure interactions and support relevant advertising through connected services. We rely on consent where required for optional tracking and associated processing.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the effect on your rights and reasonable expectations.

Emails and review invitations

We currently send order-related and customer-service communications rather than promotional email or SMS campaigns.

We use Trustpilot to invite customers to review our service. Our integration is configured to request a service review seven days after an order is confirmed. We share the customer contact and order information needed to arrange these invitations.

Leaving a review is optional. You can use the unsubscribe option in a Trustpilot invitation or contact us about future review invitations.

Trustpilot also processes personal information under its own privacy policy:

If we introduce promotional communications, we will explain the relevant choices and obtain consent where required. You will be able to unsubscribe from promotional messages.

Cookies, analytics and connected services

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as the shopping basket, checkout, security and remembering privacy choices.

We also have Google Analytics and Facebook & Instagram integrations connected. These can process information about website interactions, devices and purchases for analytics, measurement and advertising purposes, depending on your choices and the integration settings.

We use a cookie banner for visitors in the United Kingdom and other configured regions. You can accept or decline optional cookies, or choose categories through the banner’s preference controls. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.

Where consent is required, optional tracking should only operate with your consent. You can withdraw consent by changing your cookie preferences. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
